*1 ~ On the Beach ~ Jensen's "On the Gulf"

Excellent location! Just steps from the beach. Convenient to several good restaurants and The Island Store. Bonus was discovering they have an ice machine and laundry room. Saved us so much money! Highly recommend Jensens on the Gulf

Great location on the beach ! Rooms were nice and they were clean on our arrival . The only issue we had was the ice machine not working. We will back back next year ! Cannot beat this location on Captiva !

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. The location was amazing and we had no issues or problems during our stay.

You can't beat the beach access at this location in Captiva! It is also within walking distance to local shops and restaurants. We stayed at the smallest ground level unit which was small, only room for the bed and bath. It did have a screen porch which was nice in the evening. The host was gracious and helpful. They were in the process of upgrading and replacing the electrical panel and outlets in the unit while we were there which is now complete. Considering its barely a year after the hurricane the unit is in good condition but could use some more homey touches for user comfort. We appreciated access to the grill, laundry, beach chairs and picnic tables. We would likely look into one of the upper units which have kitchenettes if we were to stay again.

We had such a wonderful time. The room was very private and quaint and perfect for our quick weekend get away.

We had never been to this area of Florida before, we knew we wanted to be able to walk right out to the beach; and honestly that is exactly what we got! The resort had all we needed for a great 10 year anniversary getaway; since we were flying from Ohio we couldn't bring much with us, but didn't have to! We could walk pretty much anywhere we wanted and didn't have to use our car very much. Loved the room with a view; perfect! We will certainly come back in a few years!

Place was perfect

On the Beach is exactly as we expected & perfect for us! The room is very small, with just enough room to walk around the bed, but all that we need for an amazing Captiva vacation. Perfect location - 2 steps & you are walking on sand with a short walk to the ocean. Lots of beach stuff provided including wagons to haul all you need. A very nice screen porch with a table & chairs. All Captiva restaurants are a short walk away. Mucky Duck is right down the beach along with YOLO rentals each morning. We will definitely stay here again!

Clean, quiet and private oasis. A rare find right on the beach and short/enjoyable walk to town. The perfect beach getaway!

Unit is right on the beach as described. 10 min walk to anything you’d want to do. Very cozy/tight quarters, but makes the perfect crash pad when all you’re wanting to do is be outside. Highly recommend!

We had a rental car but didn't need it. Loved every second and had perfect weather for our stay. We can't wait to come back and could not find anything negative to say about the place

Jensens on the beach is wonderful. You can walk right out on the lovely beach and find beautiful shells right there. Plus it is easy to walk to some great restaurants just around the corner. Definitely going back!

The room was very nice. Area was very quiet to where we could hear the waves. We had to fix the TV ourselves as someone had pulled the cables and reconnected them wrong but other than that our stay was great. We will back for sure.

The room and setting was exactly what we were looking for! On the beach, clean, quiet, everything we needed in the room and for the beach was available. Very friendly, helpful reservation process. We look forward to returning!
